Something I love about my university bachelor programme, is the fact that every year a small percentage of my required credits must go towards a personal project that can be about anything I want that’s outside of my regular curriculum, as long as it has an academic element to it. In my second year I opted to get back in touch with my art side again, by choosing to look at optical illusions and the art and science behind them. The project ended up being more of an homage to M.C. Escher, than an analysis of all optical illusions, but a summary of the project can be found in the PDF below.
